Serotonin Surge Charities
Serotonin Surge Charities is an all volunteer public benefit 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1999 to raise money for health care related causes in the Sacramento region.
To date, Serotonin Surge has raised over $4 million for our recipient organizations through golf tournaments; food, wine, and fashion show extravaganzas; and most recently a 5/10K Race.
All proceeds will support safety net medical care in the greater Sacramento region, including the UC Davis Affiliated Student-Run clinics.
UC Davis Health | Department of Emergency Medicine
The Department of Emergency Medicine at UC Davis provides a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, 60 residents, and a total of 26 specialists of every medical and surgical specialty to treat critically ill and injured adults and children. The Emergency Department is prepared and equipped to provide comprehensive and efficient emergency care to patients in need of medical and surgical specialty physicians to treat critical and acute illnesses and injuries 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
UC Davis Health | Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine consists of 40 faculty, 400+ academic clinical staff, and award-winning faculty educators. Over 11 million clinical tests are performed a year in the state-of-the-art clinical laboratories. The total laboratory automation system for clinical chemistry and hematology is one of the largest in inland northern California. The mission of the department is to lead through innovation in:

Our mission is to promote the highest standards of urological clinical care through service, education, and research. General Urology covers a wide variety spectrum of urologic diseases in men and women of all age groups. Our faculty and staff are experienced medical professionals and have extensive training in a comprehensive number of techniques for the treatment of urologic disease.

Ljubica D. Petrasic, DDS
Dr. Petrasic graduated from the University of Chile with highest honors in 1990 and has since dedicated her career to cosmetic and family dentistry, oral medicine, children and adults with special needs. She currently owns a successful practice in Grass Valley where she focuses on preventative dentistry for the community.
